On Sunday, December 1, 2019, at 10:00 AM, in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Karwan F. Sami-Vice President of the University for Students Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Nawfal R. Hussain-Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Qarani S. Abdullah-Director of Zakho' Health, Ms. Dileen A. Mero-Director of Career Development Center, lecturers and students of the university, the College of Medicine celebrated World AIDS Days at Rozh Hall-College of Administration and Economics.

At the beginning of the ceremony, a speech was delivered by the dean of the College of Medicine. In his speech, he talked scientifically about the prevention of disease. Then Mr. Qarani Saed talked about the disease and mentioned that no cases have been recorded in Zakho city. After that the panels of the ceremony started.
